Every department is its own impossible ecosystem. The boiler room has declared sovereignty. The grounds crew maintains a jungle that keeps adding itself to the floor plan. Human Resources is a labyrinth, and everybody knows somebody who got lost in Records.
The comedy never winks. A microaggression may develop teeth, but the incident still needs a supervisor code. The elevator Muzak contains despair in bar seventeen. Nobody comments on it because they are late.

The Department draws from Black workplace experience without flattening it into a lecture. Power appears in scheduling permissions, access codes, quiet alliances, weaponized process, and the person who knows which form actually works.
The project is still defining its lead characters and larger arc. That uncertainty is part of the public record. The building has not approved the outline.
